Portuguese Water Dogs have been around since the 1600's. They are considered a working breed. Porties are known for being very intelligent and have webbed feet making them strong swimmers. Due to these strengths, Portuguese Fisherman would use them to swim from ship to ship delivering messages, retrieve lost equipment that had fallen into the sea and were depended upon to watch over the ships.

Portuguese Water Dogs are a strong healthy breed with an average lifespan of 12-15 years. They are hypoallergenic with  no shedding. Porties  are mid-size dogs, average weight is 35-60 lbs. They have high endurance  and stamina, so are great for any activities that you may be involved in.

ARTURO, KATARINA  & PEPPER all came from strong healthy lines. Pepper comes from Champion Lines. They are AKC registered (with lineage available), and have a clear  health test through Embark DNA testing. 

ARTURO is a black wavy male with a big white chest and white socks in the front. DOB 10/27/18. When Arturo is clipped we always joke that he feels like he is "ensconced in  velvet," His coat is soft and  is absolutely beautiful (and forgiving if you are grooming yourself..lol)!!

KATARINA is my little brown teddy bear. She is a wavy female with a milk chin. DOB 9/10/20. 

Just a doll. She loves everybody!!

WYNSUMLY'S ONYX PEPPER is our Onyx beauty.  She is striking.  Her coat is wavy and such a deep black, as she was bred for the onyx color that she is named for. She has a touch of white on her chest and the "Mark of Cabral" on her tail. Both her mother and father are Champions in the show ring.DOB is 1/19/22.

As I had said, they are from the working dog class, so they. do best if they are given a job. ARTURO'S job is take care of me...he follows me everywhere!!

We flew from California to Pennsylvania to pick up ARTURO, and then flew to North Carolina to get KATARINA We also drove across country when we moved to Georgia over 2 years ago. We picked up PEPPER in Colorado. I have never traveled with better dogs.

ARTURO stole our hearts with his gentle, sweet and loving disposition. He is so silly and seems to always have something to say. Which lead us to KATARINA, our little Mama. Little Miss Personality +". 

KATARINA loves everybody. She is so agile and fun to watch.  When she gets excited she is pretty fast and hops like a rabbit!! KATARINA is the bigger swimmer, however ARTURO loves going for a quick dip. You should see what goes on here when we say the word "boat." LOL She loves chasing squirrels and they just love to tease her!!

PEPPER has love in her eyes, she is very athletic. It is so fun to watch her dive off of the dock! She loves  swimming, squirrel watching and her Dad.

We firmly believe in socializing our dogs. Due to this, our dogs have become kind, loving and trusting dogs to all family and friends (and their dogs) that come to our home.  They love to play and are up for any activity, however they are fine just laying around as well. 

ARTURO, KATARINA, PEPPER and let's not forget our  rescue BRADY, are our children. We love, care  and consider them always. Our puppies are treated with the same love and care. The little guys are raised in our home. KATARINA and PEPPER are wonderful Mothers, and ARTURO thinks he is a pretty terrific Dad too! !

Each of our Porties Overboard puppies are $3,200. We will be happy to reserve your puppy for you with a $320 deposit. If you would like to get on our waiting list, please contact me and you will be added. 

The pups will be available for pick up at 8 weeks of age . 

We are located on Lake Sinclair in Eatonton, GA 31024. ARTURO, KATARINA and PEPPER are here at our home. You are welcome to come visit, we’d love to meet you!

At time of possession, all puppies will be loved, socialized, had Early Neurological Stimulation. (ENS), eating on their own with potty training started.  They will have a wellness certificate, dewormed, and their first set of puppy shots, along with a puppy bag to include puppy food and a blanket with their Mom and the other puppies scent.

Just know that we will be there for you should you have any questions or concerns... your puppy will always be part of our gang!!
